yes, this is the same polar bear from the previous drawings but this is pretty much how her animated cartoon look will be from now on if (most likely) draw her in the future
I've decided to call her Honaw which is Indian for "Bear"....
I think it fits her well considering I ended up drawing polar bears from some recurring dreams I've been having about bears....

thank you...i was rather fond of the polar bear fat too....as for the background...it's part watercolor...part a photo of the northern lights I had from when i lived in alaska...

LOL...i get that a lot...and by that i mean a 1000 questions about whether i lived in an igloo or went to school by dog sled...hahaha....Alaska is pretty much like any other place just colder and with a lot of snow...
I lived there for almost 5 years...it's really beautiful up there though...like living in a Christmas card

haha,im not surprised,i was more curious whether if it was mostly suberban areas,for some reason i cant imagine much city. Ive always wanted to see the northern lights,my grandpa told me its actually kinda scary seeing them the first time xD the mountainy regions look so pretty out there too

yes wherever you g you can see the mountains in the distance always...and yah it is pretty miraculous the first time you see the lights...they happened every night one winter i was there....each time different....it's really crazy
