The air used to taste sweeter...~
This is my character Mirage again, visiting a place she once called home. She's a very winterly type, personality-wise, yet also very fragile. Roses sprout wherever she goes, which, by default, makes her positively deadly.
(She's also able to drain other people's energy of life, but that is only of secondary interest.)
Painting this took me quite a long time, as I'm working on several pictures at the same time and conveying a winterly atmosphere proved to be very challenging. I kinda like it, though, despite all its imperfections.

This is stunning. I love the ambiance and I LOVE how you have a back story for the image. This may sound hokey but I think I would feel a little cold if I looked at this image in the summer. I adore the texture of the blowing snow. Great work!
