Author's Note: Probably won't make a lot of sense if you haven't seen the episode of Doctor Who titled "Flesh and Stone".

“Remember, keep your eyes shut. I promise I’ll come back.” The Doctor whispered, his forehead pressed lightly against yours as his hands cupped your cheeks. You opened your mouth to protest, you did not want to stay here with that…thing in you, but the Doctor just shushed you, pressing, what you guessed to be a finger, to your lips.

“__y/n__, I have to go.” The Doctor added, right before you felt something warm and firm against your lips. You were tempted to open your eyes, oh so very tempted, but if you did you’d die, so you refrained. The pressure disappeared, and you could hear the Doctor leaving, twigs cracking and leaves crunching.

“Did you just kiss me?” You called out, hearing a faint chuckle as the Doctor moved farther away. You huffed, crossing your arms across your chest.

You whimpered, stumbling blindly around the forest. Well, almost blindly. The Doctor had programmed the communicator in your hand to beep when you were close to a Weeping Angel, and it kept beeping. You turned, doing your best to avoid the statues that, based on the beeping, were now all around you.

“Doctor?” You asked, bringing the device close to your mouth. “Doctor?” You asked again, voice rising in pitch nervously.

You turned once more, narrowly avoiding an angel. An angel was just reaching towards you, not that you could see, when a pair of arms wrapped around you.

“__y/n__, you’re safe. You’re in the control room.” The Doctor announced, motioning for River to release you and take over the controls. River did so, and the Doctor moved over to you, twirling you around as he hugged you.

You were still in darkness, not realizing that it was the Doctor hugging you until the faint smell of his cologne reached your nose. You wrapped your arms around him immediately, burying your face in his hair.

He smiled and stopped his spinning, setting you carefully down on the ground.

“Now __y/n__, you need to hold onto this,” The Doctor started, taking your hands and leading you somewhere, placing your hands gently on something metal and cylinder. “And don’t let go, whatever you do, don’t let go.” You nodded in understanding and the Doctor grinned, brushing his lips quickly against your forehead.

The angels were gone, the angel in you was gone, River was back in prison, and you and the Doctor were back on the TARDIS, when you suddenly remembered.

“Wait, did you kiss me? Twice?” You asked curiously, gazing over at him from across the TARDIS. The Doctor ducked his head and turned away, attempting to hide his blush.

“Maybe…” He muttered sheepishly, cheeks dusted pink. You crossed the room silently, wrapping your arms around him from behind.

“Good.” You said quietly, standing on your tiptoes and pecking his cheek.

He really was just too cute.
