A little snapshot of my upcoming Adventure Time fanfic. Yep!
You heard it right. I am writing an Adventure Time fanfic.Synopsis: Marceline the Vampire Queen, is bored out of her mind and is suffering severe artist's block for her next song. After talking with Finn and Jake, she is told of the Ice King's "mad skill" with the drums and decides to ask him for assitance in healing her creative slump. When she first enters his palace, he does not seem to be there. Upon entering her interest in him seems to disintegrate as she spots his crown perched on a display for all to see. Intrigued by the red gems, and the fact that she skipped breakfast, she approaches the crown with hunger on her mind. The Ice King walks into the room and sees Marceline trying to eat his crown. The two fight over the headdress until it crashes to the floor and breaks into several pieces. Upon impact, all the magic contained in it is then released. Now, Ice King is without his powers.
So now, the two begin a search for a new crown (and/or the ingredients to create another one). Along the way, there's a bunch of other stuff, but I won't talk about it any further. Spoilers, you know.

I made this piece 2 years before the episode aired which explains what would happen if the Ice King lost his crown. If one reads the Artist's Description box, I was planning on making a fanfic about this scene. Again, this was two years before the I Remember You episode. Before I found out that the Ice King and Marceline knew each other back in the time of The Great Mushroom War. Here's the description:

Now, I may want to continue with developing a fanfic on similar grounds as the original synopsis. However, instead of Marceline haphazardly breaking the crown because of her insatiable hunger for red items, I plan on it either being broken by accident, or Marceline deliberately breaks it, either way finding out that without the crown, he will surely die. That adds more urgency to the situation and as a whole give out an Adventure Time fanfic with a more serious and poignant mood.
I would like to write an Adventure Time fanfic, but for now, I'm not sure when I would have time to write it or if people would be interested.
