Our silly Nellie girl residing in one of the rhododendrons in my grandmother's garden.
Nellie is our Border Collie/Australian Shepherd with perhaps some Great Pyrenees in her genetic make-up. She is almost three years old in this photo.

She reminds me of my very first dog, Border collies are fantastic dogs, and always gone with mutts from the shelter, best dogs ever!!!

Yes, Border Collies are one of my favorite breeds of dogs. They are so intelligent, beautiful, and loyal. Truth be told, all the Border mixes I've had were all shelter dogs as well.
