OblivionA feeling, a dull ache.
The possession of hated knowledge.
Understanding the truth,
but loathing it all the same.
Truth.
They say, “accept it.”
They say, “it will set you free.”
It is not so.
A bunch of overused clichés
That is all they amount to.
Sickness and terror;
this is what comes of grasping reality.
I choose not to understand or accept it.
For there is perfect happiness to be found in oblivion.
