Description I don't know why I never uploaded this on here! This is one of my favorite shots from the set because you can see the whole dress. I recently rewore this costume for a shoot and was finally able to wear it with the wings. I still can't believe I made this costume and that it was almost a year ago now!

Do you mind telling me how you made the layered skirts? Is it like a fishtail/mermaid skirt?

Thank you! And sure not a problem! I actually did a few mockups to get the shape right, but essentially to get the volume and the length, it's kind of like a big tapered triangle. It gathers quite a bit on the top in order to make it super full.Β  I have this picture of it while I was working on it fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net… And that is it folded in half basically before I added the ruffles and scallops and did the gathering at the top. But you can see the general shape of where I put the seams in.
