Luxanna Crownguard is the shining gem of Demacia. A prodigy on magic and tactics, this young woman has seen the front lines of battle on a daily basis yet remains absoluetly immovable in her resolve. Doubtlessly, she is one of Demacia's most recognized soldiers. However, on one of her most dangerous and elaborately planned missions yet, Lux turns her back on Demacia and joins forces with Noxus, feeding them information and leading their attacks on Demacia's weakest points.

No one could explain the Lady of Luminosity's sudden change of heart and many refused to believe she had betrayed them, most especially her brother Garen Crownguard and trusted alley, Shauna Vayne. Spanning several years back , consumed by hatred for her parents and the very country that they gave her up for, she defected from Demacia while on her first mission and became a double agent for Noxus.

Seemingly completely vicious, she has been known to unexplainable show signs of mercy towards old comrades in the battle field. Along with her ambiguous personality (innocent and well meaning one moment, ruthless with a touch of sultry sadism the next), her true loyalties are questionable and neither side trusts her fully.
