Description This was one of those ideas that popped into my warped little brain and would *not* go away. For those who did not watch the show, there was a running gag about how "the Vulcan Science Directorate has determined that time travel is impossible." Seems as though the VSD will have to rethink their position on what is possible....and that T' Pol had better start apologizing or learning about equine grooming (with Trip's help!).

Notes:

I'm pretty mad at myself on this one. I accidentally resized the original sketch and didn't notice I had done so until it was mostly inked. I probably should have gone back and redone it...and I still might some time.

OTH, I'm really happy with how T' Pol's equine half turned out. I used a Poser model to help me figure out how the limbs might be arranged and then sketched and sketched....I also just giggle every time I see her that way, and imagine that cool Vulcan voice denying the existence of her own tail....

T' Pol and Trip are of course Β© Paramount and only used her for silliness.

Next time, on ENTAURPRISE; T'Pol takes issue with a magic caster on Aeaea PrimeΒ and comes to realize there are bigger powers in the Universe other than Logic. Can the crew of ENTAURPRISE find a way to reverse this condition? Or will this Witch have 'taur' T'Pol a new one? Don't miss our next voyage!

Yeah, centaurs totally don't exist. It's totally normal for normal Vulcan's to suddenly have a horses... You know what I mean.

i thouhgt enterprise was ok

Assuming it wasn't Star Trek, as a sci-fi show it was good but they basicly took a hatchet to their own official continunity

This is really weird...I don't see any comments until I post a comment. That happened yesterday too. Is dA trying to get me to comment on my own stuff more?

Maybe they're trying to promote responces from the artists to their reviewers ?

Great gag.

I wish that they devolved the NX-01 so that it looked like it came before the original NCC-1701, and not after Voyager.. that was one of the few things that anoyed me.

I agree...the ship's design should have looked a little more primitive. I suppose you could say that Voyager was a throwback, at least in its external looks.

The interior seemed more modern in many ways too...I'll never forget the mechanical digital timer that Sulu used in one episode. That can be explained away by the time it was made but it still is a bit jarring to see.

True, just had a thought... (A dangerous thing in itself)

It would be a good way for them to wind down after a hard day.. that is; Trip grooming T`Pol; after the escapades of the mind meld (didn't see the last half of season 3 so if the relationship improved i missed it)

XD! Fantastic joke! 'I do not exist! It is a hologram! It's an illusion! They've attacked us with psychotropic drugs! An anomaly did it!'

This is one case where 'a wizard did it' IS the best explanation! (Well, a witch, anyhow).

T'ol needed that. the writing on that show was mediocre at best. I did like the fourth season where they had that run of 3-4 episode over reaching story archs. Those where great. and then braga had to stick his nose back into it for the final episode and ruined it all.

I wish someone at Paramount would realize just how bad Braga has been for the Star Trek franchise. It should not surprise anyone that the last few movies have not done well, not to mention ST:Enterprise and ST:Voyager. Someone needs to get control of ST and bring it back to the adventure and fun it used to have. If only Josh Whedon could do ST...

he tried it became Serenity/firefly. It was great until Fox stuck there noses in.

I wish tv production companies would stop ruining great tv.

MissCirce In reply to DragonicSoul [2007-10-02 16:12:01 +0000 UTC]

I'm so there. They did not have a very good reason. They brought in some aliens du jour and (in their minds) gave him a hero's death. It was as bad as what they did to Tasha Yar. Meaningless, transparent, terrible writing.

Besides I so wanted to see little vulcan/human kids running around talking with a Texan accent...

Star Trek?

MissCirce In reply to Catprog [2007-10-02 15:53:31 +0000 UTC]

I'm not sure I follow the question...so here are possible answers

1) "Is this Star Trek?" Yep. These are characters from Star Trek: Enterprise, a series that I watched along with (apparently) about 10 other people in the world. It's too bad because while the writing wasn't the best I really loved the characters and the situation.

2) "Why in the world did you do a Star Trek joke?" I'm weird that way . And I still remember every Saturday night my mom would make Chef Boyardee pizza and we would get to eat it off of TV tables in the living room and watch the original Star Trek series....yes, we had TV's back then. Ours was even color! (oooh, ahhhh)

3) "Star Trek? With centaurs? Are you crazy?" Well, I've never been diagnosed but probably should be sedated....

(hope you know I'm just kidding, Catprog!)

You mean The Plot Device?

Actually some of my earliest transformation dreams involved the teleporter and "accidents". I think it's safe to say they would never let me be in charge of one.

LOL! Will probably need to have a license to operate a teleporter.

One could always sneak in after hours to conduct fobidden transformation experiments...
