Uh-oh, another Disney fan art! Now that I've started, I can't seem to stop . I'm sure more will be on the way, as well as some non-Disney. I wanted to draw Megara because she is one of my favorite animated heroines- feisty, sassy, lovely, and voiced by the amazing Susan Egan. Her character design is so unique and very different from other animated females. I thought, well if draw Meg, I have to draw Herc too . I flipped through a Disney storybook and found a great reference pic. In the storybook it is a title page, so the ground and sky is very small, and the whole illustration is tiny against the white page. I added the "sunburst" to make it seem like they were leaving Earth and entering Olympus, hence the very defined edge between the sun and ground view. Kind of a follow up of my "Belle in the West Wing" [link] drawing. This is prismacolor pencil, prismacolor marker, copic marker, and watercolor pencil on smooth Bristol.
