Description This is of course Padme' Amidala (played by Natalie Portman) from the Star Wars series. Here she is in a promo photo by the lake from Attack of the Clones. I started this oil painting last summer, but shamefully did not get to work on it much the past few months due to school, so finally here it is. The whole reason behind it is I just HAD to paint that dress. I fell in love with it when that movie came out and knew I just had to paint it. I would love to hear your comments! Thanks

A lovely rendition! Padme is one of my favorite Star Wars characters, and you captured her perfectly. Not to mention the background is stunning too - the water is so pretty. ^_^

Oil paint is sooo much fun, especially if you like color! Seeing how well you work with shade and shadow, I'm sure you would do brilliantly! Thank you , the whole reason for this was the gown, I absolutely fell in love with it when I saw this movie!

Hi, while i like the painting, her hands are freaking me out a little. I think they are way too small for her body. Usually hands are about the size of your face. I think her head is a little too big for her body too.. but your colors are great and the way you painted the fabric makes me jealous.

all your work has a nice glowing effect, i like the precise detail of this, and the use of pink tones throughout. You pretty much got Natalie Portman's face spot on!
