Actually, I'm kind of on the fence of what to do with Matcha, that being either make him alive again (through a series of getting possessed and a lengthy stay in the hospital) or just keep him dead.
What do you think I should do with him?

Also, the centipede's goal would be to keep Porsha in the state that she's in currently because
it feeds off of her anger and rage, and wrath. By learning to forgive and redeeming herself, it along with Porsha's demonic
form would be vanquished. 

See what I'm getting at?

Ok now listen to this. 

According to Porsha's backstory, she flat out murdered her aggressors, and
she used the devil to do it right? Well, what if there is more to those murderers than
meets the eye? What if they murdered because they were starving, and homeless,
and desperate, and the only way to survive was to kill other people and take their stuff? 
And they dumped them in the well not out of malice, but out of desperation to cover up their crime?
The killers may have been deeply remorseful and guilt-ridden, but by then, it was too late because Porsha
killed them out of revenge. Now they are restless spirits who long for forgiveness and redemption, but cannot
find it. 

Now for the synopsis itself. 

Legendary Chalice discovers a powerful spell that can grant any wish, but the only way that the spell will work is if
the wisher learns to do something that is extremely difficult for them, in Porsha's case it's learning to forgive. Porsha,
with the help of Rita, her helmet, the Cup bros, and Porsha's deceased family, return to the well to seek out the restless spirits of the
three murderers who killed them that dreadful night. The killers who have all come to be remorseful for their actions pleads
with Porsha and her family to forgive them. Will she forgive them, or will her rage and anger get the best of her? 

One aspect of this story would be Porsha's final form, the centipede looking creature, somehow taking on an entity of its very own,
and acts as the antagonist of the story. It would kind of be as if Porsha is facing an inner demon (Remember she got that form from the devil
himself). And in a way, Porsha must also redeem herself as well for murdering her aggressors. It would be a tale of forgiveness and redemption,
and the ultimate reward is a wish, a wish to bring Matcha back. And not only that, but Porsha would also earn her original form back (Meaning she would get
her legs back) She would lose her powers and final form, but what matters is that Matcha is back and they can start over together. 

So what do you think? I know it might sound a little farfetched, but hey it's Cuphead, pretty much anything goes right?

Hmmm. To be honest, I'm on the fence a little bit too. 

On one hand, I think not bringing him back is a good message that
sometimes horrible things happen, and you just have to pick yourself
up and move on as best you can. Kind of like Simba from the Lion King,
after his father, is killed. I think that's why I made the Porsha's birthday
comic. Even though her family is dead, she can still see and interact with them
with the help of Rita's helmet. 

On the other hand, bringing Matcha back would be very ideal. Porsha would no longer
be lonely even though she has new friends. But if you're going to bring him back,
I would do it in a way that feels natural and very much needed. Maybe this would
happen in a comic. And you would also have to explain how he came back to life.

Because when I first saw your short comic just now, I was like "Wait, he's alive now!!!?
But how!!!!?" You know what I mean? 

So if Matcha must be resurrected, you'll have to really explain how bringing him back was even
possible. Maybe through use of a spell? Or a single wish? A sacrifice? Not entirely sure. 

If you can figure that out, then bring him back, but if you can't then just keep him dead. 
Porsha will just have to see him and the others in the next life. But until then, at least
she has Rita and her helmet to fall back on. It's up to you. 

BTW I noticed something similar to our respective OCs in that both haven't seen their parents
in a while and are afraid to visit them for different reasons.

You have a good point. Now having thought about it, I think it's best he stays a ghost. But I still want Porsha to have kids, but I have an idea to fix that.
