Today- which is in the very early hours of Thursday morning- is the first time I've seen this piece. First of all, it's wonderful, but what made my mouth fly open in surprise was that just the other night I had a strange dream of snow and warriors with swords and a great purple velvet tent under which I went to be part of a great art show with many other artists, and as I looked up into the high dark top of the vast purple tent, I was greeted by a great mother praying mantis and her two offspring!!!!!! She nodded a greeting to me.... When I saw this...well you can imagine how surprised I was!

Okay...the fact that your piece was titled "The Guide" is even more significant and even prophetic for me!!!! How strange that I should dream what I dreamed and then see this wonderful piece you did with that image and that title that very day!!!! It gives me chills quite frankly as right now things seem to be happening to me as far as possible positive changes professionally. And it all began that day after I had this dream! Since I first saw your work here on DA I felt a connection to it- now this is made even more significant by my strange dream....
Yes, I find the on-line translators are often lacking- it wouldn't even tanslate "guideuse" at all! I had to make an educated guess based on the similarity of the English word to that and my very limited knowledge of the French language.

Well, she- the mantis- has been a good omen so far- and I saw the mantis yet again this evening in a movie! Really quite surprising!
And don't worry about your English- it's still far better than my French.
