I second that question! What did you use to achieve that effect? The only way I can achieve it i s graphite pencil and rubbing...a lot of rubbing. Care to share?

How do you make the backgrounds look so soft? Do you use a marker blender? Because I can't fathom how one turns prismacolor pencils into something that resembles watercolor.
