Wow. I can't even think of 100 words to describe the beauty portrayed in this photo.
She looks so ... Sadistic.
She is beautiful and looks like she was dressed up to go somewhere, yet the makeup she is wearing is running... Implying that she was crying. Yet her mouth is smiling. Indicating she is hiding something or is being hurt by someone. The reality of this photo is so gorgeous.
Also the artist comment about never being perfect isn't the first two lines from a song? But the last two aren't. I like that you twisted it. Beautifully done. Marvelous indeed.

The first thing that drew my attention to this photograph was the eyes. They stand out so well in the photo and the make up has been very well done. The sharpness of her hair really goes well with the softness of her skin and creates a nice contrast.
I like the light in the background but I think that maybe the photo looks a little too unbalanced. This could go both ways though, because sometimes I look at the picture and it's perfect and then I'll look at it again and it doesn't look quite right. Maybe having just a little bit of light on the left hand side could fix that.
The expression on the model's face is absolutely perfect, almost cheeky. To me her face almost looks like she's been crying before getting a little bit of revenge, hence the smirk.
It's not often I find myself loving portraits like this but those eyes combined with that audacious smile make this a very beautiful photograph.

The way the eyes are illuminated really draws out the emotion the model is portraying. You can almost feel it from her eyes alone. Her eyes seem to shimmer and glow, which pops out with the black and white. The dark and light on both sides of her face ignite the light reflecting in her eyes as well, giving her a kind yet frightening appearance. The contrast between the two different sides work well to expose the emotion being expressed in the photo, as well as capturing the models overall beauty and uniqueness. The smudged make-up and almost sinful smile really adds so much more to the photo.
