The sai file for this was called 'napstabot doodle' and I really didn't intend to pretty this up enough to post it here but It Happened Anyway

A very well-timed anon on my art blog asked me about Underswap Napstablook and Mettaton, and just a few days before that I'd had a surge of inspiration for Napstabot so I couldn't help but drop the things I was gonna work on next and draw them immediately :D;; They're a similar case to Noodle/Swap Papyrus in that I have nothing against the original Underswap version of the character, but they just never appealed to me personally so I did what I want with them. I think my problem was not being able to see the original Napstablook in there, given that I love versions of Underswap where the characters keep aspects of their personalities.

I also can't remember the source on this but I recall hearing that Napstabot likes their arms the way MTT likes his legs, so I had an idea a while back to make a point of that in their design by reversing MTT's noodly arms and fabulous legs, so Napstabot would have cool bulky arms and noodly legs.

I'll go into more detail about their personality when I get to making a character sheet for them but they're outwardly more upbeat and confident than UT Napstablook, but they're not quite as extravagant as MTT and their shyness in public is well known. Design-wise their gauntlets are covered in controls for music and their tear trails light up to the beat, and they are definitely going to trip on those shoe laces.
