Description This is a scan of my scrapbook where I put all my poems in. Then I wrote this poem, I was pretty hurt and angry at someone special in my life. And I invisioned how I would feel if I had moved (since that is always a top topic in my house. Long Island has become WAY too expensive for my family, and for many others.) and lef tthis person. Would they care? Would I care?

Day After Day
To the girl who gave and never got,
To the boy who used her, she never forgot
To the life she spent, chasing her dreams,
Her love, her hopes,
She's run out of steam.
She kneels at the alter, and prays to God
For the strength to hold on,
The courage to move on
The support of her friends
and a love that never ends.
She looks to the sky,
Tears blur her eyes.
She never was able to say goodbye
To the boy whom she loved
To the boy who she shoved away
Who used her, that one faithful day
And now she is moving
Moving far, far away
And she asks her self the same question
Day after day
If she'd taken him back
Would it all be the same?
Would anything have ever changed?
Does he think of her, still to this day,
As the girl who blew him off, who shoved him away?
She wishes with all her heart
To speak to him one last time
But fear of the pain and hurt
Pulls her away
And her she sits pondering those same questions
Over and over
Day after Day
