Geez you saw Hellraiser when you were 6 or 7? They're not really children's films...

No, but they are gems.
And at the time, I didn't think of it as a'scary' horror movie. "Them" on the other hand... that goofy thing gave me nightmares for weeks.

ah, I love Chatterer! My favorite of the Cenobites!
And this is a very well done piece here; it completely captures the mood and the feel and really does him justice.
And such incredible work on light-to-dark transition and especially good work on his musculature! That right arm alone is a glorious display of anatomy!
totally have to fave this one!

Every time I see chatterer it reminds me of the boy in Hellraiser 2 that he became when the doctor killed him. Oh to witness what horrible disfiguration process he underwent to become "the chatterer".. D:<

MissLizz In reply to DamonLSalvatore [2008-05-20 17:34:45 +0000 UTC]
Yeah. Another way to look at him is through this short story called "Look, see" published in a horror magazine in the early nineties or late eighties. In it he told of himself as a major film star in the silent era up until the early to mid-forties.
Well, that's what I think when I look at him, anyway. Most likely not seen as 'canon,' but still an interesting read.
As for the boy, who knows, he might have enjoyed it. Doubtful, but one never knows. :/
