I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for Pride Month, and in the end I still wasn't sure. But I decided I would draw Monifa wearing the pansexual pride colors since she is pan. It took a bit to get this one to work, and honestly, she looks a little high to me. I was going for a humble smile. I also had trouble with the colors of her shawl and her dress. I don't really like pink much because it bothers my eyes. This one hurt. I ended up doing it about three or four times shade wise? First was too dark, and it just continued n that vein until we got here. Her bracelets actually started out as gold before I pulled back and decided they didn't pop against that pink, so I fiddled with the hue feature in sai and turned them blue.
Overall, it was pretty fun to do this. I can't guarantee anything for next year, but I may draw her brother similarly with the bisexual flag colors. We'll see if I remember.
