Russian nesting dolls! These are for a show at [link] in April....next weekend i think?It is missing the smallest doll since iam going to sculpt an egg for it instead of the doll. It's him hatching and growing up into a big mean monster!
I can do commissions for these, could be fun to have a row of people's personal characters or a werewolf changing from human to wolf ( that's the next one) or more cute monsters. I'm thinking $150 or so because of the time it takes to paint each one. If anyone is interested just ask

Those are wicked awesome! You should consider putting a nice shiny glaze over the top of them if you haven't already (it doesn't look like it but I could be wrong) I'd like to see more of these, I wonder if something with tentacles would work or if it would look odd with the shape of the doll...hmm

They came out pretty well, and the colours,
as always, are bright and strong.

Cool! I just finished a nesting doll project of Japanese mythology creatures. Did you finish the wood before you painted it? I didn't and they turned out sort of grainy...
