This is for fireprinces20 's contest.

I chose her OC Zafiro, because he really fit to my imagination of this scene.
I espeacially liked his cheerful and youthful way, so he seemed to be a great audience for old Caelia's storys.
This may be the most peaceful scene I ever drew (or ever will draw)

Fun Fact: It took me and Xandoo about 45 minutes to come of with a title for the book (the following is the story he came up with )

"The realm of the legendary and at times cruelsome Alvin Spearbreaker once reached as far as the sky, which seems to caress the jagged mountains and the deep, blue
seas in the distance beyond the horizons. Hardly anyone could remember the times, when it had been different, for it almost appeared, as if the mighty Dragon was nearly as
old as the lands themselves, which had been prospered ever since he started protecting them. But of course, it had not always been like this. And as you might know, it has not
been like that for a very long time now, for our formerly undefeated Protector has closed his wise and wary eyes eternally a very long time ago."

"and then? what happened?" Zafiro asked curiously. His tail waving out of excitement. Caelia looked up to him, smiled and then put her big green eyes back on the book:

" However, you might wonder how the untroubled, unconcerned, unheeding and young Alvin had become a dragon who freed the continents from all evil, secured the peace
and eventually fell like a heavy stone that had been tossed off of one of the castle's high towers ornating the land far and wide by a reckless bird..."
