I see you have a Kodak easy share (I used to have one of those!) On a photo like this, I'd try to drop your aperture even more then it is. If you have a dial at the top of your camera that says "A" or something similar, you should click to that and then make the number as smaaaaaall as possible. This make a shallow depth of field, and would make the background soft and fuzzy, while keeping the subject really crisp. With this photo even increasing the shadows/contrast would make it stand out more from the background. Here's an example of what I'm talking about - I took this with my old Kodak. [link]

Wow! I thought I couldn't do that with this camera, I never explored that mode though Thanks so much for the tip! I really appreciate it

No problem. The "A" means Aperture Priority - meaning you can control the aperture and the camera can compensate all the other things (ISO and shutter speed). The further away the background is, the easier it is to get fuzzy. Your cam might have a harder time turning the background all soft when other stuff is closer to it. Another option is the "Macro" setting - the little flower mode. It does similar things. Have fun!

Yea I knew about the macro setting, that's what I used for this, and at least, on my camera it's a P because it has a couple settings that can be manipulated there. Thanks for the advice, I am sure I will use it

I love these flowers. :3 And you are really able to get across the sunny sky and the background which is chock full of these things and then focus on the blooms right in front. I think it's awesome and your coloring is really great. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure you aren't focusing on flowers that are already starting to fade. But I love this.
