I always love the part in "Tak: the Hideous New Girl" when Tak does a quick little nod towards Dib right after she sits down.

This is probably the only pairing that could, could happen possibly! Tak is probably the only being to acknowledge Dib's intelligence! And the other person other than Gaz to hang out with him!

That's what I think, too! I think it's pretty obvious that Dib likes her, and, even though Tak might have just been faking it because she can fit in with humans quite easily, I think she liked Dib, too, even if it was just a little bit. x3

It came from "Tak, The Hideous New Girl". One of my favorite episodes. x3
I understand what you mean, though. Usually romantic stuff makes me want to bang my head against the wall. A little bit doesn't bother me much, but it's just that everything (music, movies, television) is so completely saturated with it that you can't get away.
*stares blankly* Wow, I've been thinking about this for the past few minutes, and I seriously can't think of one. I was going to say "Sybil" but then I remembered that it *did* have a romantic subplot. Honestly, though, I think the movie might have been better without it, I found it distracting.
Ugh, no way. I can't believe I can't think of *one*. Not even one! Why do those directors always slip in that little bit of romance? Even when it's not necessary?

That does make a lot of sense, and I know that most of my friends would probably like a movie with romance if they were to go on a date. I, on the other hand, would prefer to be entertained. Put simply, those romantic subplots just bore me. It's almost always the same formula: Boy meets Girl, Boy and Girl fall in love, something *bad* happens to tear them apart, they realize they can't live without each other, and then they immediately solve any problems and get back together.
Rarely do they ever *not* end up together. It's actually quite refreshing when they don't, though the only movie I can think of where that happened was Lost in Translation. =/

Personally, if I were ever on a date *laughs hystarically* I think watching a gushy romance movie would be very... unconfortable >>;
I really don't like any of the slashes or ships from ZIM... it's just not a romantic show ^^

You know, it's hard to picture you on a date. o.O
But I agree, it'd be like I had to match up to the gooeiness of the movie...and I'm just not gooey.
And yeah, it's really not. I like some ships though because, eh...because...I do... Ok, so I can't think of a valid reason, so sue me. xD
