Ou! Old train things thrill me to death! The west has a lot of them, we don't have many around here. It's sad.
I dig the lack of contrast. Though in the other pic you posted just recently, it's a lot more constrasty, which works well for that one.
Did you add the grain in this? What's it look like minus the grain? Hmm..

I'm happy you liked the lack of contrast, I try not to post process all of my pictures the same, just trying to mix it up a bit

It was my first time purposely adding grainy goodness...
You know those people that hold in all their feelings inside and then snap 20 years later and commit mass genocide? Well thats kind of what happened here, but instead of a body count, there's a butt load of grain
Now that you asked how it looked without the grain, I am contemplating if I should change it. I'll post the grain-less one in my scraps and if you want you can check it out.

I know what you mean about going overboard with post processing stuff. I do that sometimes and then I'll look at the original picture and think "my god, I do a lot of wank, don't I!"
I usually amp the contrast too much. I don't know why. but I do and I shouldn't. I'm going to hell.

When I was there, I didn't smell the smelly lake. Are there times when the lake doesn't smell quite so bad? Now I have to go back to smell.
However, when I was on the salt flats, I jabbed my finger through the crystallized salt into a bit of water under it... and then I put my finger in my mouth ... to taste if it was salty or something. Holy shit. Holy shit. I gagged and nearly barfed and made really sick noises. Ew.
