Trying to convince myself that the dissonance was just in my head.

Trying to persuade myself that there's was nothing I could do about it.

Reminding myself that other people don't see what I see.

Reminding myself that they don't understand.

Reminding myself it was too hard.

Too deep.

Too painful.

Too costly.

I lost myself along the way.

When you finally do see yourself reflected back it's so earth shakingly powerful it's hard to stand.

Nothing will ever be the same.

Nothing will keep me from losing it ever again.
