09.19.09.burn out all the lights. -------as far as my days go, today was not too awful. largely spent at matthew's house watching the movies whose music we are playing in orchestra with matt and sylvia and matt's dogs murphy and dixie. they are the sweetest dogs. ever. five hours with two friends and pirates of the carribean and breaking free and food.
it was still rainy.
elina dropped by our house breifly. i love my nerd friends. because it is international talk like a pirate day, and i can start a conversation with corey in pirate and he will continue it in pirate without skipping a beat. my friends are so cool.
i was talking to anna about halloween. i now owe my obsession for plague doctor masks to her. god. they terrify me to the point that i want to cry, but they are so incredibly beautiful in a psychological-horroresque way.

jeezus, i made such a mess with this photoshoot. there are splotches of paint all over my carpet. luckily, resolve saved my ass. i felt slightly disrespectful of billy mays for not using oxyclean. but to hell with it, we didn't have any oxyclean.
i have been obsessed with skin lately. i promise i am not trying to be a porn star.

hehe.
i put paint on the very tips of my fingers and dragged them down my back.
and then i realized that i couldn't get my fingers in the exact same place as last time, so for every frame i had to redo the paint.
violinnnn for orchestra, and i trumpet it band but i do not enjoy it. and the piano. because how can you not play the piano?
fabric paint does not wash off skin easily.

i agree, how can you not play the piano? I am playing Debussy these days. I am also a cellist.
Perhaps you should have tried that paint that they make for kids which is safe even if the kids eat it and washes out of everything easily...
