A few months ago, I decided to give the Pokémon games a try and purchased a copy of Pokémon X, a decision of which I am very happy I made. I see why people enjoy these games so much now, they really capture one's imagination, especially when it comes to the Pokemon themselves- I ended up making up individual personalities for each member of my team as I went on which in turn led to a surplus of fan art. Pictured here is Henry, my Gardevoir which I captured as a Ralts very early on in the game and became a staple member of my party through the entirety of the game and beyond. I always imagined him to be a wannabe knight who is rather abashed by his generally feminine appearance- it was his dream to become a chivalrous Gallade someday, but his pitiful novice trainer didn't know she was supposed to give him a dawn stone while he was still a Kirlia so he ended up evolving into a Gardevoir. He's a real manly man- er- 'mon, so to speak, but he must cope with the fact that he is stuck in a dress for the rest of his life. Don't worry, Henry, I'm sure you're not the only male Gardevoir out there with such sentiments! >v<''
Anyway, there are a lot of details in this drawing that are pretty sloppy that I'm going to touch up later, so expect an updated scan to replace this one in the future. Probably will post other pieces of the rest of my Pokémon crew as well. With that said, I hope you enjoy the picture and let me know what you think!
