This image was the first thing to come to mind when I read the word 'light'. It's my character Rose, conjuring magical fires. This is a recurring theme in my art, I'm not ashamed to admit it. I love to revisit the concept, though.
I'm very proud of the way it looks. It took 2 days to make. A full day to sketch it up (I had many poses in mind), and a second half day to paint and shade it. Playing with lighting is fun/frustrating, but so worth it!

Thanks for sharing your works with I quite enjoy the pose it looks almost as if she is about to dance and unveil her conjuring with the smoothness of her movements. Very good job on using the light source and reflecting it nicely with the green lighting and the shading on the rest of her body. Well done
