Haha I have created a monster!
I truly am a Frankenstein now! The Frankenbunny is a failed attempt to make a stuffed bunny. It's still a stuffed bunny but it's not what I intended to make. The head was supposed to be completely round but I had forgotten how hard it is to sow a perfect ball. It looks messed up.
I am aware of that it looks like something a school-girl has made, but I haven't used a sowing machine in 9 years so I suppose it was doomed to fail.
I made it out of a pair of pants. They were ripped in the butt so I thought I should do something with them. I have one leg left to use so maybe I'll make another attempt soon.
The only thing that's successful are the details. It was pretty easy and went smoothly.
And I do not intend to keep it. If anyone is insane enough to want this... this... beast, feel free to bid.

I never made a sketch. I simply cut out paper about the sizes I wanted them. That's how much I planned. xD

There is something so appealing to it, maybe its the haphazard stitches everywhere, or that huge grin? I don't know but I love it! Insta-fav!
It has a certain quality to it, I always stitch carefully, everything planned - if I tried to attempt to do this helter-skelter stitching, it'd look planned and not authentic. I took a look at your gallery, its amazing! I love your style! \>π: 0 β©: 1
Oh trust me, this is nowhere near the quality I was going for. But at least I learned something.
Normally I plan what I do as well. But now I stuffed it before I stitched and that made everything so much easier. It went so fast I could just stich without really paying attention to it.
I want to do that. I have so many ideas, more bunnies, crocodiles, fishes etc. All zombies of course.

It's got that quality about it, maybe the white stitching. Β Then again it also reminds me of the dolls in "Coraline." Β The effect would be even greater if the buttons were black instead of blue/purple. Β I think it's rather cool and unique.

Yeah it's probably the stitching.. It puts the hole thing to another level.
I thought of Coraline too when I put the buttons on (pretty hard not to). But I think they would have vanished in all the black if I used black buttons. I thought about using white but that was overkill.
