Who else thinks it's odd that the turtles say things like "Awe sewer bunnies."? I did. Until I thought of a literal sewer bunny. I'm sure at one point or another an animal or two could have made it into the sewer. I think Raph would be about 10 years old here.

Anyways, it was winter and the boys were young so Splinter made them wear some type of winter clothing. He fixed gloves for those who didn't want mittens so that they would fit on their hands. They were adult men's gloves, cut at the fingers and sewn back together to fit their hands. (Like in the tmnt 2007 movie) I'd like to think when Raph was younger he'd be the one to find a lot of things because he'd stomp off and sneak out so much. I feel like Splinter would sometimes send the boys out to look for important things once they were older. He'd also miss a lot of important things even when he was older because he just didn't know what it was. So him going out sometimes was just as good as no one going out.
