It's official- I am completely obsessed with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I thought I wouldn't be, but while I was watching an episode of MLP:FiM for the first time, and by the time I had finished I had already come up with an OC or the show. Congratulations everyone, it's another brony (can I get a brohoof, anypony? ). I will be making more characters for the storyline idea I have, maybe I might even sneak in a comic in between commissions.

Edit: So after working some more on his design, I have finalized his design and have given him some more of a backstory:
Name: Prince Admiralty
Type: Alicorn
Status Single
Personality Friendly, caring, charismatic and well-spoken, headstrong
Likes: The ocean, marine animals, sailing, social dances and parties
Dislikes Selfish ponies, his parents trying to control his future and social life
Relations: King Willow and Queen Snow Star (parents), Epoch (mentor), Captain Seaworthy (best friend and captain of the Sea Mare), Skipper (pet albatross), Princesses Luna and Celestia (cousins)
Romantic Interest: [possibly] Fluttershy (because I want him to XD)
Backstory: Prince Admiralty was born to the King and Queen of the Crescent Moon Kingdom. Before he was born, an ancient and wise unicorn called Epoch foretold to the King and Queen that their son would unite the kingdoms of Crescent Moon and Equarius, the ocean realm where King Nautilus and Queen Coral reigned; however, he also predicted that he would be drowned by the mermare Kelpie, who long hated the rulers of Equarius for reasons unknown to Epoch. When he was very young Admiralty and his parents went to the seaside for a weekend vacation. It was then that they realized he had a mysterious connection to the ocean when he predicted the coming of a hurricane, giving them time to get away. Because of this revelation, he was very isolated as a colt, his only companion then being his mentor Epoch, who helped him to understand his new power. When he was old enough to take on important duties for the kingdom, he was given the task of meeting with the King and Queen of Equarius weekly(while heavily guarded, much to the prince’s chagrin) to discuss peaceful trade negotitions with them and to also settle any disputes arising between the two kingdoms. To get to the cove that the Royals reside in, instead of simply flying there he prefers to travels on the ship the Sea Mare, with his best [and only] friends Captain Seaworthy and the prince’s pet albatross Skipper. Every once in a while he is visited by his cousin Princess Celestia. When she tells him stories of her student Twilight Sparkle and her friends he yearns to visit Ponyville and make new friends, although his mother and father forbid him from shirking his duties. He tries to run away after he discovers that his parents are secretly planning to arrange a marriage between himself and the narcissistic Princess Anemone, youngest daughter of the King and Queen of Equarius. However, Captain Seaworthy convinces him to stay and instead suggests that the Prince invite Twilight Sparkle and her friends to come visit for a time.

I hope to develop more of the story, do some illustrations for the story I have, and add more character sheets now that I am on summer break. Hope you like him, because I sure do!
