I'm not off my hiatus, I just remembered that I forgot to post this here gdi. I drew this up a while back and I'm still pretty much in love with the idea of this AU. Its set about 15 years after some sort of nuclear war or something like that, where it kills off most of the human and animal population, and the radiation mutated some beasties and humans into blood thirsty monsters, that have the ability to "infect" other humans and turn them into the monsters too. Kinda like zombies except they're smarter and they're like lizard-y wolf packs. Thankfully though with a bit of good old fashioned human ingenuity they have built some colonies in radiation safe zones away from the badlands and have started to rebuild somewhat of a society. However there are drifter colonies- Gypsies are what they're called, and they're pretty feared as they're really tough individuals who travel through the badlands regularly to gather up supplies and stuff to sell or trade for their caravans. The new world is a tough one that does not favor human survival anymore, yet the human race is trying its damnedest to do what it does best...survive.

This is AU Addy btw, and she's one of those Gypsies and such, so fun stuff.
