Mmmm caaakee~
A while ago, I drew my friend *Sof-Sof a pic for her bday, which featured a cake shaped like planet express: [link] When Futurama was, amazingly, renewed on June 10th, I pondered a way to celebrate it and I remembered that cake.
Life got in the way and I had to put it off, but recent events (namely the fact that FOX is once again effing things up by messing with the voice actors >.< ) have caused me to get my nerd on and proceed with this project - huzzah! 8D
I've never baked a cake before, let alone decorated one, so this was a bit of a challenge. A fun challenge, though~!
The hardest part was spreading the icing in a way that I didn't destroy the cake(it was delicate). I didn't keep time, but I'd say this took a few hours. I used this pic as a reference: [link] Had to eliminate some details, but I'm proud of how it came out visually and taste-wise! 
Oh and btw, there are 26 candles to represent each new episode that we'll be getting. Woooooo

yup! Season 6. Though I wouldn't suggest the first ep unless you have seen the 4th movie, because the ep requires you to see the movie to understand it, heh...
Sounds great! Yeah, I've finalized my schedule and everything, too. Managed to condense it into 3 days! I didn't take any summer courses, no. I got my first job actually. Yay~! 8D So my summer's been good.

A long while now, I believe I started watching it when it aired here from the Pilot episode, heard of its existence after an episode of 'The Simpsons'. Awesome! 8) I'd like something Futurama related; the Robot Devil is pretty much my favourite character, so how about him aaand... Bender! Doing something fun 8D I'm a fan of the RD/B ship so if you draw them as a pair, that'd be cool; though if you just want to have them as buddies, that's fine, too~

Ahaha, that would be so fun to see! I think all you need to do to achieve the right flesh tone is a little bit of red and yellow food colouring in white frosting. Same with hair colours-- it's all in the different combinations of food colouring. C:
Can and will do! I haven't drawn any Futurama in such a long time and it's going to be so refreshing to do so again! It should be interesting because I don't think I've drawn the Robot Devil before! XD After reading that, I know exactly what to do with them ~ >D *gets started*
