I spend a lot of time like this. On the tops of the buildings [usual or under construction - no meter], on the trees and garrets but I feel myself strange under the ground in subway and basements for example.

I think that's one of the reasons I like this. It has height and openness to it.
Yes, sometimes underground or closed areas just feel claustrophobic. I like upper areas also.

Parents always told me that it's dangerous but I don't care. All the precipices was our secret place. We knew how to come down to water. Even knew where we can jump from the cliff into the sea without fear. It was our summer fun. All my childhood was everlasting adventure story.
