Nicely done! I just finished a painting of her actually... my favorite Fire Emblem character!

Haha I'll add it very soon, I'm just trying to find my battery charger since all of my paintings come out looking bad from a camera photo... And no, just her normal stance =[
I may do another one later most likely, such an awesome character

Well, if I understand correctly, there's some guy named Geoff in Maine that can't stand the girl, but other than that, she's pretty universally adored.

From what I've heard, a *lot* of people know his mom. XD

as much as people keep saying that her as a General is godly, I'll always use her as a Super Recruit, well Paladin the first time so i can beat hard mode to unlock the Super Trainee classes

Ah, I've heard that using her as a General is good, too, but I don't think I've put that much thought into choosing a class for her before. Usually, I'm pretty bad at thinking strategically, so although I like SRPGs and usually love the characters (not to mention how amazing the sprite art is, particularly in the case of Fire Emblem), a lot of my playing them ends with my staring at the screen and going, "Well, would 'ya look at that?", though I do end up getting through eventually. I'll have to keep your advice in mind the next time I'm playing- I just got the game lent to me again and am hoping to do better this time.

heh I was like that when i first started playing Fire Emblem7 , after much confusion whether i was playing the right game because there was no Marth and I thought they gave Roy a different name or something and i didn't know the games were SRPG. took me a while to learn that there were a ton of games i never played before and games were separated into separate series depending on what continent and universe they took place on. and it took me a few days to realize that in FE7 i was playing as Roy's father and not Roy himself. so yeah, i was VERY confused the first time i played Fire Emblem.
so yeah making go General turns her into a giant wall of certain death, but it takes away the cuteness factor of her in-game sprite. i refuse to make her into walking pile of metal for most playthroughs except for the Girls playthrough that i'm doing right now since i need a girl that can use Garm and shes the one that potentially can.
heh i had to borrow the game from my friends a lot too, but i finally bought it from one of my other friends for just 7 bucks

Seven dollars is a really good deal for the game, especially since that means you're not required to borrow it anymore. ^^ I'm actually borrowing the one I'm playing from my brother, which isn't a problem, since if he wants it back, he can just go into my DS case and get it. Besides, if I couldn't play Fire Emblem, my collection of fighting games might just leave the living room for an undisclosed location, and stalemates like that never make anyone happy. XD
When I started playing Fire Emblem, I knew who quite a few of the characters were, since I'd done some of them in cross stitch before playing the game. I'd wanted to play to find out more about the characters I was doing fanart of, which only seemed fair. It was the gameplay that threw me for a loop, though. I'd played some SRPGs before, but they were all Nippon Ichi ones, like Disgaea and La Pucelle, and as much as I love those, Fire Emblem takes a lot more thought, planning and strategy, since in those (the NIS games), any tough level can be steamrolled by some good-old-fashioned level grinding, whereas in Fire Emblem, leveling is less accessible. I sort of think I might have been better off if I went into it without more knowledge, since then I would have gotten less impatient on my first go-round.

heheh, yeah Fire Emblem is different from others, i remember the first time i found out that you can't revive characters and reading the characters dying messages really made me sad, which not many games can do.
if you get frustrated by Sacred Stones, wait til you play Radiant Dawn.

Heh, i haven't played it yet but I played Path of Radiance and im getting Radiant Dawn for Xmas. its a good idea to play the gamecube one before you play the Wii one so you can know who Ike really is and who his mercenaries are

Ah, cool! I keep wanting to make one of them, Marth especially, but my attempt at it was thwarted. (I have a stitch of Marth in my shoebox that came out the size of my thumbnail! o_O)
Thank you! I'm about a 4th of the way done with her already, so I hope to have her posted within the next couple of weeks. I haven't worked on her at all today, though.

Gosh, that's tiny! Is there any way to get a bigger one? o.o In any case, may one of your future attempts be rewarded with success. -nods like old man-
Oh, that's cool! You'll be finished soon. Well, don't worry about it, everybody gets busy xD

Well, there are plenty of ways to get bigger ones, but my lack of math skills and a small sprite got the better of me. XD I think I'll try again soon. Since the tiny-tiny Marth was fun to make, a big one will probably be even better!

I think the ones for the plain Fire Emblem are nicer, too, but since Sacred Stones is the one I've been playing, that's why I've been making those sprites. It's a bit of a weird bias, I guess. ><;

No, it's fine. I'm just wondering. xD
The battle sprites are equally cool, so it's all cool. xD

I have! Rosalina is really cool, her hair is spiffy and I like the shade of blue that her dress is, so I've been trying to do some sprite modification to stitch one. I will let you know if I get a nice pattern!
