I'm from the U.S. in Colorado. Caracara are such interesting birds. I love how the pink flesh around their faces change according to mood. ^_^

Nice shot! Interestingly, at the raptor rehabilitation center where I work, their common name is spelled caracara.

I don't know how in Italy is spelled the name. I'm not sure karakara or caracara. I found the name karakara on the tag in the wildlife park where I was

That's a very common kind here where I live. Sometimes they come up, but as soon as you try to get closer, they fly away.

unfortunately, where I live I can see only in the prey animal park.
Karakara are really funny!
