Acrylic Paint on Cardboard
Here is a picture of a lady named "Sheila" that I tried to paint good, but came out horrible. I was trying to get the highlights of her face, but it is terrible. I used acrylic paints on cardboard.
Here is a painting I did. I am just a beginner so please tell me what you think about it.
I would like to hear any critiquing that you can give me. Please tell me anything. I know I am not that good so please tell me what I am doing wrong.
Please tell me a little about your drawings as well. I would love to check out your artwork, so please tell me where to find them.

yes of course the acrylic medium is a bit hard to handle.I have never used acrylic colors alone , It was either for a project or a group work where i had used acrylic colors.well i would say that you have well tried to maintain the light and shadow,the highlights, good.well what you need is regular and rigorous practise in this medium before you can actually flaunt your skills to other people and by your painting i really cant judge your drawing skills so for this purpose i am visiting your page.You can visit my page too (though i am not a good artist)
