Description i was at the local bus stop days ago and spotted the new 2010 P.R state police car,a Ford Crown Victoria Interceptor(a favorite with Coppers and Taxi Drivers) which used the Modular 4.6 V8 with 340hp on tap,i really like the new color scheme rather than the old one, which looked like a NY Taxi.

i think i can bring you one sometime, they are common in both Police and private form.well, the car's gonna get discontinued next year and they are leaving it as is,only with heavy Duty suspension and a powerful engine in the Police Package model.

A white TrailBlazer, and I would forget my actual cars
They are rare here, but they are sexy. I like the design a lot.

I have looked a lot last days, ok at least I know the color of my future car: Nato Oliv

I would take: Puch G (aka Mercedes) and Dodge or Chevy Pickups (newer models) ooh and maybe exceptionally Mitsu or Nissan but they do not have the interior eqipment that I like, they all have this cheap 80ies look. I prefer automatic transmission so it is hard to find something here. All are sticks.

you mean those old Gelandenwagens Mercedes Benz built back in the 70's and 80's? those are incredibly rare and they're only sold as Gray Market vehicles.you could convert one to an Automatic.

BigMikeAtTt In reply to Mister-Lou [2010-09-25 06:02:21 +0000 UTC]

austrian military has a lot because they were build here (as PUCH G) but they have no luxury interior (in war you don't need that hahahaha) and they are all sticks.

This is a '09 version (got a facelift after 30 years): [link]

But I need a cheap car not a 7000 HP V8 hahaha

Here from austrian military: [link] but I need automatic!

i saw one of those behind me months ago,it was a G55 AMG model, possibly the only one i've seen ever.those Magna-Steyr Mercedes G Klasse's were always some tough SOB's.

BigMikeAtTt In reply to Mister-Lou [2010-09-25 06:27:38 +0000 UTC]

Yes they are amazing. OK G55 is not possible, I even would took the G300D (3,0 diesel engine with 88 HP hahaha) but I'm not in mood for a manual transmission. I hate manual transmission.

Nice, I like the stripes on the hood. Also it's nice to see a police department using the new Setina push bumper with the built in LED's. I'd like to get one of those for my car.

yep,the Governor spared no Expense on giving the men in blue the latest equipment for the State Police, most of the cars there were beat up to the point of breaking down and most of the damaged Crown Vics became scrap .

wastemanagementdude In reply to Mister-Lou [2010-09-18 04:37:01 +0000 UTC]

It's sad to see a CVPI in a scrap yard but there are so many of them it's really not a big loss.

Mister-Lou In reply to wastemanagementdude [2010-09-18 17:41:44 +0000 UTC]

yeah, parts for them are cheap and plentiful since they made lots of Vics.i'd like to get one of the old LTD's from the 80's someday.

true,it's one of the toughest cars ever.the body of your average Crown Vic must be made out of Titanium.
