OHKAYSo here's a sketch dump dedicated entirely to an old story I made up back in 2010. I graduated, went through a break-up and had to work from 6:30 to 3 every week day cleaning an elementary school. How did I cope?
I was listening to Disturbed's song Asylum and this character popped into my head. Over the course of several weeks I managed to create a rather violent and dark story about a man named Cyrus (well...an anthropomorphic dog-man) who has been trapped in this place the 'patients' there call "The Asylum". Doctors perform horrific, nazi-like experiments on these patients for unknown reason. Cyrus was a successful case (for the most part, save for his eye which is slowly deteriorating from an 'vision enhancement' test) where he has the ability to morph the muscle and bone structure of his arm through will power (hence the cord connected from his spinal cord to his elbow) and was implanted with the ability to switch on and off various emotional and physical feelings. Essentially, he's the perfect warrior, his left arm being incredibly powerful.
After a few years of perfecting these abilities, he used them to rip his straight jacket and bonds, kill all the doctors escorting him and escaping into the darkness of the Asylum.
He accidentally meets another patient named Elizabeth and she decides convince him to help her escape as well.
That's the basic premise anyway. I'm not going to delve into the rest of the story.

Well the three I really want to see complete are sChIzO, My Asylum, and the alien one (in that order) and I'd love to see them published...at least digitally for Kindle. I bet I could do it for you too. I'm learning how!

Well sChIzO is fine of course XD. The other two there though, not sure yet. When I finish sChIzO though, that alien one I think is next in line for a scheduled webcomic!
My Asylum would be a one shot graphic-novel type thing though. Same goes for a few of my story ideas actually XD

That actually sounds like a really good plan. I would love to see sChIzO and the alien one as web comics.
But I really want to see My Asylum, I think even if you just did one complete graphic novel that would be good.

The alien one is starting to shape up a bit lately too, so it'll probably be the next webcomic I"m thinkin.
But yeah if My Asylum were to be completed, it'd be in one graphic novel form XD

Hey, I used to think up stories and characters when I listen to music too! Not so much now these days, my mom has me taking this medicine that hampers my imagination and allows me to concentrate more so I would stop forgetting what I'm doing and getting lost in my thoughts.

I'm pretty sure it is, a good thing I mean. Its never bad when something inspires you. Happens to me a lot, usually I start at one song then I go to another, and another and next thing I know I'm imagining scenes and fights and stuff in rhythm to the music. Then a lot of mental editing and next thing I know I got a story going on in my head. Its usually crack fic though, you know, The easiest type of fanfic to write, and one of the hardest to write well. example:
'Hitler continued laughing, then finally said 'Goku! You came here expecting to find a madman, but instead, you found a GOD!' Hitler had become a Super Saiyan.'
However I can assure you that its anything but bad cobbled up non-sense, I even got this story in my head where an alien race abducts one male and one female of each race from different universes and pair them up in male and female pairs of different races and they are forced to wear these collars that kills the wearer when the other one of the pairing dies. And the pairings are sent to different planets and the goal is to survive 30 months by whatever means necessary, that includes but not limited to killing off other pairings and teaming up with other pairings.
And its a cross-over fic too, think: Keith Keiser paired with Kieri Suizhan fighting off a helghast super soldier who, in turn, is paired with Molly, Abbey's sister.

No I agree taking anything as inspiration is important.
And crack fanfics like that...yeah I agree you have to be able to write them well and make them believable.
I've had a few ideas for one. I was even thinking about one that involved a cross-over of Mario and Solatorobo XD ;

pretty awesome, I'd like to see this turn into a full story, the concept itself and the character cyrus is a lot like bane and his backstory from the old batman comics, which adds to the awesome

Yeah, Bane was born in a prison where they experimented on people with a drug called Venom, it was supposed to make someone into a super-human but nobody ever survived the injections, except for bane, he became an extraordinarily strong man with the drug and he broke out, becoming a mercenary, only the trade-off is he has to have the venom constantly pumped into his system in order to live, hence why he wears the mask, it has a bunch of tubes that go into his neck to pump the drugs in

I don't think I honestly started sChIzO yet when I came up with this idea. Like the idea for sChIzO was there first but this I made up in between coming up with the idea and actually starting the comic XD ;
