Your style really reminds me of gunnar, you may not know of him, but he is a very talented man who had done the cover for new found glory's "catalyst" album. Also, This picture reminds me of the works of the person (forgot his name right now, sorry) who recently did work for finch's "say hello to sunshine"... To make a long story short, your style is unique, the colors are awesome, and your concept of boy automation is well depicted, extremely nice work.

Seems like a picture book fairy tale where the boy becomes a 40-foot robot then defeats the monster, saves the town, and is given the King's halo. This is what the pages after the ending of the book would look like. In my opinion. Bored of everything now that it has all been done... nothing more to defeat. No more glory. He is bored and becoming evil like the monster he had previously destroyed.

Reminds me of an old fairy tale about a boy who grows 40-feet, becomes a robot, saves the town, and is rewarded the king's halo then becomes bored of it after the ending of the book. Kinda how children are so fleeting, they can never be satisfied and people forget about that.

So very eerie.. the chipped nose and lip.. the halo.. the stove belly..
Nice equalized composition with the birds, which also serve as a good reference of scale for seeing that he's giant.
Comparing this with all your other deviantions thus far, I like how they can all fit into the same world. Good stuff.

I really like the robot, but shouldn't the plants against the house be.:hmmm:..Different? I mean, if they are vines, they'll climb more upwards, around the window panes, but if they're not, they wouldn't seem to lean on the house quite so much.
