It has been a really long time since I last did draw a critter like this one and I must say that it was quite enjoyable.Only to more art trades to go~

Very cool creature. It reminds me of a kind of dragon or gryffin type creature. Very colourful and nicely detailed.

Yeah... I am a bit curious about what kind of creature it is exactly since it's not really mine to begin with but I tried my best to make the best of the existing design (Which was extremely detailed)

Whatever creature it is. It is certainly interesting and is very well drawn and painted.
I am sorry to hear; that you weren't happy with the background. From a positive critique. You could have maybe added more blue, to the sky. But, I think you painted the grass very well, with its different shades of colour and the added light and shadow. And, I think, you did the sun, with the beams of light shining down really well, indeed. So, I wouldn't be too disheartened about the background. It still looks cool.
