A couple months ago Fusionousboi asked me if I was doing a series of pictures of people's phobia or some sort, I answered no but well I changed my mind ahah I got a bunch of drawings involving most common types of death and we are starting here with Fire. I apologize if the picture is not quite up to your taste I tried not to make it too realistic not to make it too freaky but if it makes people go HOT DAMN WTF BROOOO I can slap a nsfw tag on it.

Fire is a curious element: through its warmth it allows us to cozy ourselves in the winter, dry our weary bones, keep animals away and help us cook raw food for maximum nutrition. As most things thou, too much of a good thing is a bad thing: fire truly embraces the concept of gluttony, if allowed it will grow bigger and bigger swallowing anything that comes across it, whole forests and town were consumed by its passage and it all often start from a small spark. While we can't help but to fear its mighty power we can't help but to be victims of its charm ourselves, as it crackles and grows we watch the blazes destroying the wooden log we just feed to it, we are aware of its strength, matter of fact we can never handle fire directly, we can just try to control it for our bidding: oxygen, heat and fuel are necessary elements for its recipe, probably one of the first tools we ever learnt how to master to our advantage in prehistoric times.
Death by fire it by far one of the most scary I could think of, if one was to be cast in the blazes the pain would be out of this world... the smoke would quickly choke the victim while the blazes would turn to ashes all but the bones. Many people in the past suffered this fate, the death by fire was seen as a purification of the soul, truth was it was only a gruesome spectacle. But after seeing the outcome of some fire survivors, seeing the severe burnt wounds constantly feeding searing pain to their victims, I am to think that escaping a towering inferno often leaves a mark, a permanent and burning one, almost like the fire itself cannot be put out from ourselves.
