Dear reader
Fiction is based on reality: as an artist I struggle to compare my work to nature. Sure I can draw a tree but will it ever compare to a real tree? No it wont.
The bark's texture, the sap's smell, the rustling of the leaves...even the most hyper realistic drawing ever made will pale in comparison to the real thing once the illusion is broken.
So is art hopeless? Not al all (duh)!
Life grants me unlimited inspiration, countless references...maybe I wont be able to capture the universe as it is, but I can give it an interpretation unique to myself. It wont be perfect, it wont be necessarily truthful but it will be mine, it will tell a story that perhaps you have heard a million times, but its nuances and flavors will be different, influenced by my views, likes and opinions. Maybe my take on something simple will spark disgust and anger in you or maybe it will make you reflect on yourself and on the world you inhabit.

In real life we are all humans, bound by rules and biology, but in our imaginations we can be giants.
You will find me here, trying to conjure the universe and all its magic on a digital canvas.
