10 inches - Almond - Simple banded handle

His four older sisters were quite chatty as they entered my shop after him. Before me stood a small, round boy with no physical likenesses to his siblings other than their eye colour. I went about my business and had him try several wands while asking what sort of magic he was interested in. He said nothing but instead turned around to look at his sisters, who were entertaining themselves by making silk scarves twirl about in the air while laughing and conversing loudly.

I took out a simple-looking 10-inch wand and handed it to the boy. "It may not look like much, but seeing as this is your first wand, it's what you do with it that counts." He turned around to his sisters and with a simple flick of the wand, all four girls tripped onto the ground. The boy quickly turned around to hide the growing smile on his face.

"HE'S NOT GETTING THAT ONE!!!" one of the sisters yelled.

The boy's smile slowly faded. I quietly told him "Don't worry. I'll just pretend to give you a different one." The grin on his face quickly returned as he nodded to say thanks.
