Thanks, Bill! I kinda start with a roughed in city, build a flat grid, then building the buildings up from that. I do that, and also cry bitter tears after I realize what I've gotten myself into

So all by hand 'old school'? No application to help with the perspective? If so, cool. Don't use any other way myself, though these days I'll work out perspective with far vanishing points on a small layout. In my earliest daysΒ I laid it out directly on full size paper and then was using yardsticks and bigger on the floor

i do the yardstick too. even AFTER i do it smaller and digitally. why why why??? was this all from your head, or did you use ref? either way, i still look at this in awe. fuckin a, dude....
