Well, I said that mainly because I'm not a big Ben Affleck fan... And I'm not sure of him as Batman... But only time will tell; so I'm not going to judge him before seeing him play his role as Batman.
Many people hated when it was announced that Micheal Keaton would play as Batman in Tim Burton's Batman movie, in 1989. In the end, he showed that he WASN'T just a comedy actor (since his major success were comedy movies), playing his role as Batman very well (despite not having a "physical" of Batman, being short and not very muscular). For me, he was one of the best "Batmen" (Remebering that Val Kilmer and George Clooney [great actors, by the way] did not lived up by "the mantle").
