With MTMTE #50 coming up I thought I'd finally homage one of my favourite G1 covers. The original was a Time Wars cover by Andrew Wildman from issue 205. Bit of a labour of love this one!Related content

I've told you before, no self-respecting Marvel UK fan would ever draw a pile of dead bots without including Toastertron. The original had him in so I had to include him too, I'm pretty sure he's on the Lost Light. Rung is resting his head on him, Tarn may have forgotten to kill Rung, he looks pretty undamaged and a bit shocked at the turn of events!

I always wondered why this wasn't homage more often, after drawing it I wonder no longer! Character models ain't what they were in the 80's...
