Description Introducing Dusty Shelves. This fellow was inpired by the events of Fallout 3's Canterbury Commons quest.

Info:
- D.S. is a big fan of Pre-war comic books.
- Inspired by reports of the Stable Dweller and Security, he has created his own alternate persona to battle the wicked Wasteland! (he has yet to decide on a heroic name for himself)
-His Pipbuck was inherited from his father who had left his failing Stable with the rest of its population to settle in the nearby town of Bridleburg.
-Dusty prefers stealthy tactics when confronting a threat, using a foreleg mounted dart launcher or smoke bombs (the ingredients for which he purchases off a certain zebra)
- When not persuing his 'hobby', he works in a small supply store built out of, what else, a bombed out comic shop in Bridleburg.
-He has forever been looking for a copy of Mare-Do-Well #65 to complete his collection!

The Wasteland's going to eat this kid up.......

... His staying in town right, I mean Good natured and no tagged combat skill. 7 to 15 skill you can’t fight like that, well you can fight and get your plot kicked I guess. His even missing 3 S.P.E.C.I.A.L. points. Hope he makes some good friends because his going to need them. Wasteland fodder indeed. Statistics aside, I love this character. He fills the needs of the rest of the party and his shortcomings leave for great writing about how he deals with problems with brains and stealth. His growth to being the hero in his head is going to be great. Can’t wait for his first hero moment, "Halt you fiendish fiends." Only to have the raiders look at each other then start shooting at him. This looks like a fun group to follow around the wasteland. Looking forward to it Mech.

My first encounter with the Giant version in New Vegas, I had to kite the bastard from the Yangtze Memorial almost back to Goodsprings.

Glorious continuity between the characters is glorious!
If I remember correctly and Pike is retired from raiding, they could become friends. Or at least the enemy of his enemy.

Yeah this guy is definitely the most "colorful" of the three.
Looks like he's pretty much the polar opposite of Kituo, fast, agile and stealthy, and like Pike Wound he clearly has more enthusiasm than common sense, though unlike Pike he doesn't actually seem to have much combat experience.

Yeah I do kind of get the impression the wasteland will eat him alive it he tries to take it all on himself, so here's hoping he'll meet up with the other two and learn how to survive, while still holding on to at least some of that quirky idealism.

Of all the things that I enjoy about your pictures, Mistermech, it is the faces you place upon the characters. They are ineffably amazing and ever so entertaining. Dusty's face looking at the comic book, however, is the best one.

I am with dashboard, I suppose you're going to start some kind of story with these fellows? and i noticed that Hoofington rises is on the wall so bridleburg is supposed to be around the hoof eh? now you've got me pondering...

Okay the thing with him running from the rad roach, priceless...and I mean it, totally hilarious expression especially with him "looking" at the reader...

his hero character outfit, whatever, is soo patchwork its pretty darn funny, DT? 5 perhaps? maybe a converted hazmat suit so it gives a rad resistance of 50% and then you have it "reinforced" later to give it a dt of like 12 i guess...
