I saw Sweeney Todd last night and I loved it. This was one of my favorite scenes. I thought Helena Bonham Carter looked beautiful in it and I liked how it contrasted with some of the darker, bloodier scenes.I used pastel pencils on charcoal paper. It is 11 by 7 inches.

This is beautiful. I think that her face is a little too narrow and you may have skipped on details around that same area.

This piece is sooo beautiful, i was thinking of painting this pic myself..she is just soo dark in comparison to the background but beautiful. Loved the movie and love Helena. lol.. Really really digging the hair..

It didn't take too long, probably like an afternoon of nonstop working. For the skin and the hair, I just built up layers and blended until I was satisfied with how they looked.
