Aah, I love this comic too much, I need to make a mini fanfic. TwT
Brick caught her wrists, pressing himself against her in order to stop her from falling, he smirked, thinking of a million snarky comments, but kept to himself.
"W-what?" Blossom blinked as she thought to herself, realising someone had caught her, she mentally kicked herself for falling in the first place. It was extremely uncharacteristic of her. She finally looked up at her saviour, as much as she hated it, her cheeks burnt up, creating a soft red hue across her face.
Her expression softened, she felt so vulnerable, so helpless under the stranger's grasp. He grinned, the way she furrowed her brow in concentration while thinking amused him. Her soft expression was just as intriguing as her focused one.
That's when he noticed her reaching for his bandana, he pulled her wrist away from his face, he winked while waving a finger in her face.
"Grr..." She grit her teeth, who does he think he is? Despite her hardened expression, her face did not return to it's natural skin colour.
She began to struggle, trying to rip her wrists away, but it was useless, he overpowered her. He grinned.
There was a high chance she would have lost it if she were to catch a glimpse of that mischievous smile.
He wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her closer.
"W-wha..are.." She found it difficult to find words, her heartbeat picked up, she could hear it pounding in her ears, oh God, oh God. Too close! Too close! But of course, she did not find herself pulling away.
He chuckled one last time, lifting the lower part of his bandana, and slowly leaning forward.

"Bloss, what are doing,?" Brick questioned her. He had been standing there for five minutes and she still hadn't noticed him.
Blossom shrieked, slamming the hard-cover book shut, piling a few papers and a cup atop of it.
She casually leaned on her elbow, trying to hide her obvious flustered face.
"N-nothing! Nothing at all, nothing embarrassing I mean why would I do something embarrassing, I wasn't writing anything inappropriate, no, never, hey have you seen Bubbles, because I really need to.." She rambled through her nervous chuckles, using her free hand to rub the back of her neck.
It was okay, Brick had read most of it during her absent five minutes.

This reminds me of a scene from an anime I'd watch years ago called: "Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne".
